About the Parish

This parish stretches from the River Thames in Chelsea to Old Brompton Road is part of the Roman Catholic Westminster Diocese.

Servite Friars
Our Lady of Dolours Servite church is under the pastoral care of the Servite Friars, since its beginning in 1864. For information on the Servite Friars, click here.   

The Servite Community in residence consists of four friars, Frs. Pat Ryall, OSM (Prior), Paul Addison, OSM, Philip Allen, OSM and Jim Mulherin, OSM. Fr. Paul is a Catholic Chaplain at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital.

Parish Today
Fr Pat Ryall OSM is the parish priest assisted by Fr Jim Mulherin OSM. The parish today has evolved into a community of many races and nationalities. There are more than 30 parish groups that belong to the parish.
